On Saturday 16 May 2026, Peterborough City Rowing Club will host a 12-hour Rowathon bringing together rowers of all ages and abilities to take on the lake, river, and indoor rowing machines. This isn’t just about distance—it’s about people. Every stroke rowed will help make the sport more accessible, supporting physical and mental wellbeing while building confidence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging within the community.
All funds raised from this Rowathon will directly support three key areas: growing community rowing, strengthening junior programmes, and expanding inclusive and adaptive rowing opportunities for under-represented and disabled participants. Alongside the challenge itself, the day will welcome the public to get involved, try rowing, and see inclusive sport in action.

RaceLeader is here to track everyone’s progress as we take on an ambitious collective challenge. Together, we’re aiming to row from our home in Peterborough all the way to Lake Bled in Slovenia, the venue for this year’s World Masters Regatta, where several of our athletes will proudly represent the club. It’s a big goal: 3,609km in total.
Getting involved is simple: just add your workout using the button below. You’ll appear on the leaderboard, and every metre you log will contribute to our shared target. Let’s see if we can make it all the way to Bled!
Leaderboard rows are expandable. Use Enter or Space to expand or collapse each row and read activity details.
